1、therefore意为“因此，所以”，是副瓠鲺闲剔词，可放在句首，句中。一般是推断得到的必然结果。比如说，I was ill,and therefore could not come.（因为是副词不是连词，所以后面那半句是和前面半句连着的，不用再另加主语）
3、for this reason意为“为此”，一般放在句末。比如说，Many people support the practice for this reason.也可以后面加上+that从句，引导结果状语从句。
5、so意为“因而，结果是”是连词或者副词，后面可以跟上整个句子，多用于口语。比如说，It is late, so we will go home.
7、so that 意为“因此，所以“，可引珑廛躬儆导结果状语从句，要与so……that区分。so……that则意为”如此……以至于“so的后面加形容词，that后引导结果状语从句。比如说，He saved much coin so that he could buy a present for his mother.
